Do you want to bring your company into Blue Carbon? Join us in Menorca for the ARTEMIS Final Meeting on June 10. Applications are open until May 13, 2026.
The Mediterranean Sea and Coast Foundation (MEDSEA), partner of the Interreg Euro-MED ARTEMIS project, is launching a call for private companies interested in the conservation and restoration of the Mediterranean to take part in the ARTEMIS Final Conference, which will be held in Menorca (Spain) on June 10, 2026.
This key event will showcase innovative approaches to marine ecosystem restoration, with a specific focus on seagrass meadows.
The event will present the results of the ARTEMIS project, including advanced restoration methodologies and the development of innovative Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES) mechanisms. ARTEMIS aims to restore these ecosystems by integrating their economic and social benefits into public policies and private investments. These tools are designed to enable and guide private sector investment in nature-based solutions, offering concrete pathways to support the protection and restoration of marine ecosystems.
The call is specifically addressed to sustainability managers, CSR and ESG professionals, CEOs and business owners, as well as decision-makers interested in integrating high-impact environmental actions into their corporate strategies.
WHEN AND WHERE
June 10, 2026 — Club Nàutic Ciutadella, Menorca (Spain)
Hosted by the ARTEMIS Interreg Euro-MED project (flight + hotel included*)
WHY NOW
Marine ecosystem restoration is no longer just a research or positioning topic.
It is a concrete lever to unlock investment, generate impact, and build new models of public–private collaboration.
Posidonia oceanica meadows are among the most effective ecosystems for carbon capture (“Blue Carbon”), yet they are also among the most vulnerable today.
What will be explored is how to act in a credible, measurable, and scalable way.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN
On June 10, at Club Nàutic Ciutadella on the island of Menorca (Spain), ARTEMIS brings together companies and key stakeholders for a roundtable focused on the role of the private sector:
Unlocking investment in Posidonia meadow restoration: business perspectives
With contributions from companies already active in the field, supported by technical and strategic partners.
This is a hands-on exchange between those already taking action, those looking to get started, and those who want to learn more.
WHAT YOU GET

- real case studies of companies investing in Blue Carbon
- public–private collaboration models already under development
- concrete activation opportunities
- direct exchange with experts, partners, and other decision-makers
