The ChambreTuniso-Italienne de Commerce et d’Industrie, with the cooperation of all the MedArtSal consortium, organized the first edition of the MedArtSal International Fair focused on the development of more sustainable salt production in the Mediterranean area. The event was held on 24 and 25 March 2022 in a hybrid format, in presence at the Movenpick Hotel du Lac in Tunis and in virtual mode via the MedArtSal platform.
The objective of the fair was to highlight the production both traditional and innovative of salinas in the Mediterranean, creating opportunities for B2B meetings between operators in the sector and potential client/partners who attended the event both in person and virtually.
During the event with more than 950 participants, besides the salt producers exposition, the participants had the opportunity to follow workshops on the MedArtSal results such as the Sustainable Management Model for Mediterranean Artisanal Salinas and the best practices, the opening of the e-commerce dedicated to artisanal salt producers, the open workshops for schools by SAIDA , the B2B meetings and more.
