Puliamo la Sella! 2025 — Join the Big Beach Clean-up in Cagliari on June 28th

The MEDSEA Foundation is preparing to launch the seventh edition of "Puliamo la Sella!" on June 28th starting at 8:30 AM, the annual event that combines environmental education, science and love for the sea in the beautiful setting of Marina Piccola.

The event is not limited to a simple waste collection, but becomes a precious opportunity to understand the impact of pollution on marine ecosystems and to learn sustainable practices for environmental protection.

A morning together with the MEDSEA team that combines practical cleaning activities both at sea and on land with scientific insights on marine conservation topics.

2025 Edition Details

The seventh edition will take place in the picturesque Marina Piccola harbor, with activities starting at approximately 9:00 AM. Participants are invited to arrive at 8:30 AM for registration and initial communications.

The event is open to everyone: individuals, families, groups of friends, companies and naturally also children. Children can either join their families in cleaning activities or participate in the special ecodesign workshop organized by GluDaMare, under the guidance of artist Alessandro Torrisi.

How to Participate

Participation is free but advance registration is required through the link bit.ly/PuliamoLaSella. This registration method allows organizers to better manage the event and provide all participants with the necessary materials for the activities (gloves, bags and MEDSEA gadgets).

A Celebration for the Sea and the City

"Puliamo la Sella!" represents much more than a simple environmental initiative: it is a true celebration that honors the bond between Cagliari and its sea. The event helps strengthen the sense of community and collective awareness towards environmental protection, involving citizens of all ages in a shared experience of territorial care.

The initiative enjoys the patronage of the Municipality of Cagliari, and is supported by a network of partners, sports associations including: Seascape Sardinia, SeaWorld Cagliari, Golfo degli Angeli, TuttinSUP, Savanzada Climbing Cagliari, Windsurfing Club Cagliari, Sardinia Tourist Guide, Olé Kayak and Apnea Tribune.
